VCAA resins are a series of polymers with different molecular weight, partially hydrolized vinyl chloride vinyl acetate
resins. They are supplied as a white powder.
The resins can be used for a wide range of coatings applications, including printing ink, wood finishes,
paper coatings, metal decorative and container coationgs, and as a binder in magnetic tape.
The resins have many advantages, for example, crosslinkable with amino resins or polyisocyanates, compatibility
with many generic resins including alkyds, polyurethane and acrylics, resistance to water, alcohols, and aliptatic
hydrocarbons, adhesion to vinyl, cellulosic and treated polyester and PE substrates, taseless and odorless.
